How to Apply

Applications for our 2020 Graduate Program are open from 22 July to 9 August 2019.

You can find out more about the various stages of our recruitment process below:

Application . . .

Submit your resume online via our current job vacancies by 9 August 2019. We will also ask you some additional questions as part of your application.

Online testing . . .

If you meet our initial eligibility criteria you’ll complete an online psychometric assessment.

Video interviewing . . .

If you are successful in progressing to this stage we will ask you a selection of questions via video interview. We pre-record the questions so you can answer and submit these at a time that works for you by the due date. There won't be an option to start the video again so it's important to be prepared and ensure you are in a quiet space without distractions.

Assessment Centre . . .

If you are successful in progressing to this stage, you’ll attend a half day Assessment Centre where you’ll participate in a variety of group activities. It will be held late September.

Behavioural interview . . .

If you are successful in progressing to this stage you’ll have an interview with WorkSafe leaders, where you’ll be asked behavioural-style questions. We’re looking for examples of how you’ve demonstrated particular behaviour in past situations. Interviews will happen towards the end of October 2019.

Background checks . . .

If you are successful to progressing to this stage we will ask you to complete a background check, that includes a police check, and provide us with the details of two referees we can speak to.

Formal Offer . . .

If you’re successful, you’ll receive a verbal and written offer for a place in our 2020 program. Offers will be made in November 2019.
